    Admission: FREE No late seating

Yve Laris Cohen explores time and physicality in this new untitled work. Devynn Emory explores the multi-faceted ways we seek approval, love, contentment, and satiation.

    Johanna Morris and Tatyana Tenenbaum
    April 24, 2010 • [Sat] • 3:00 PM

Johanna Morris's This and other dark starts uses endogenic light and sound to create a dark landscape of childhood memories and adult fears (both real and fictional). Developed and performed in collaboration with musician Hannah Temple.

In The Near(ness), Choreographer Tatyana Tenebaum uses spoken and sung texts and abstract movement to create a dream-like palette of visual and rhythmic textures. Performed by Ethan Cowan, Lucinda Segar, and Tatyana Tenenbaum. Live music performed by Michael Beharie (Guitar/Electronics).

    Lindsey Drury and Martin Lanz
    May 22, 2010 • [Sat] • 3:00 PM

The Slick Filling of Aches and Cavities by Lindsey Drury offers a voyeuristic window into the private deterioration of a romantic relationship, while shining a light on the nature love and the intimacy of consumerism.

Movement acoustics by Martin Lanz focuses on the resonance of the movement. Lanz brings his fascination with architecture, physics and philosophy into this piece.

Danspace Project's 2009-2010 DraftWork, Danspace @, and FOOD FOR THOUGHT series are supported, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs and City Council Member Rosie Mendez.
