" Gia Kourlas Time Out New York (Academy Dances 2008, Hollins University) Danspace Project presents Academy Dances, an annual series showcasing emerging and alum dance-makers and dance-artists from renowned college and university dance programs. This year, New York University’s Tisch Dance moves three blocks up 2nd Avenue to Danspace Project at St. Mark’s to perform Northern Exposure, a presentation of works choreographed and performed by BFA and MFA students and faculty. NYU Tisch Dance Department’s weekend run will include work by current student choreographers as well as work by NYU faculty members.The lighting designer for the evening will be Carol Mullins.
