Global Exchange (The Netherlands):
LEINE & ROEBANA
Sporen

April 25-26, 2008 [Fri*-Sat] at 8:30 PM
Admission: $15.00 (members $10.00)

Photo: Deen van Meer Capricious, rich in texture, emotional, and idiosyncratic, Sporen confronts the different movement approaches and ideologies that have become signatures in the work of Netherlands-based duo Andrea Leine and Harijono Roebana. Constantly switching between multi-layered physical counterpoint, aggressive attack, and organic deconstruction, the movement style is as demanding as it is natural. Music composed specially for the piece by Kyriakides, Padding, and Soundpalette both contrasts and enhances dance sections. The work is performed by Alba Barral Fernandez, Sara del Barrio Benito, Uri Eugenio, Tim Persent, Lia Poole, Ederson Rodrigues Zavier, and Heather Ware.
