"Note to self: Try not to miss any performances by Kate Weare's group... This is what I've been craving..."
- The Village Voice

A collaboration between choreographer Kate Weare, composer Michel Galante and designers Kurt Perschke and Brian Jones, Lean-to offers a sensitive glimpse into issues of interdependence, self-awareness, and trust. Weare builds a movement language based on leaning with an original score played live by composer Michel Galante and his award-winning new music group, Argento Chamber Ensemble. Original set design by visual artist Kurt Perschke. Lighting design by Brian Jones. Costume design by Sarah Cubbage.

Bridge of Sighs explores the reckless and wise instincts that drive us upstream toward love, in the process exhausting, softening and remaking us into who we are meant to become. Original Score by Michael Hearst and Joshua Camp of One Ring Zero. Costume Design by Astrud Angarita. Lighting Design by Brian Jones. Performance by Adrian Clark, Douglas Gillespie, Leslie Kraus, and Jennifer Nugent (the newest member of KWCo).

Bridge of Sighs was co-commissioned by Jacob?s Pillow Dance through its Creative Development Residency Program, and developed in part through a Choreographic Fellowship at The Maggie Allesee National Center for Choreography at Florida State University, and an Artist-in-Residency at Dance New Amsterdam. The development of Bridge of Sighswas funded by a generous grant from The Greenwall Foundation and The Bossak/Heilbron Charitable Foundation as well as private contributors, such as Eileen Drew and Lance Rosedale of CA, who commissioned the score by One Ring Zero.
